Activate the plugin from your plugins menu in your Wordpress Admin Dashboard.

Go to the configuration menu under the “Settings” menu. It is labeled as “Wishads for Zazzle Store”.
Enter your associate id and the other variables for the layout colors and your default store and display settings.

You will also need to check to display the wishads in posts/pages. In WP, pages are basically posts. If you turn the settings on for posts, it will give you sthe option to use the wishads in posts AND pages.

To create a wishad grid, create a page or a new post and click the “w” wishad button. Complete the form and it will insert the wishad code into your post.

subscribe to a zblog plugin how to

Sends a list of subscribers an email notification when new posts are published to your blog

== Description ==

Subscribe2 provides a comprehensive subscription management and email notification system for WordPress blogs that sends email notifications to a list of subscribers when you publish new content to your blog.

Email Notifications can be sent on a per-post basis or periodically in a Digest email. Additionally, certain categories can be excluded from inclusion in the notification and post can be excluded on an individual basis by setting a custom field of ’s2mail’ to ‘no’. The format of the email can also be customised for per-post notifications, subscribe2 can generate emails for each of the following formats:

* plaintext excerpt
* plaintext full post
* HTML full post

The plugin also handles subscription requests allowing users to publically subscribe by submitting their email address in an easy to use form or to register with your blog which enables greater flexibility over the email content for per-post notifications for the subscriber. Admins are given control over the presentation of the email notifications, can bulk manage subscriptions for users and manually send email notices to subscribers.

Subscribe2 supports two classes of subscribers: the general public, and registered users of the blog. The general public may subscribe and unsubscribe. They will receive a limited email notification when new post is made or periodically (unless that post is assigned to one of the excluded categories you defined). The general public will receive a plaintext email with an excerpt of the post: either the excerpt you created when making the post, the portion of text before a <!–more–> tag (if present), or the first 55 words of the post.

Registered users of the blog can elect to receive email notifications for specific categories (unless Digest email are select, then it is an opt in or out decision). The Users->Subscription menu item will allow them to select the delivery format (plaintext or HTML), amount of message (excerpt or full post), and the categories to which they want to subscribe. You, the blog owner, have the option (Options->Subscribe2) to allow registered users to subscribe to your excluded categories or not.

GStrang wrote:
OK – I now have three links to top sites and if I keep going at this rate I will not have any room for products! ! !

I have seen some of you put them on you “about” page – but I can’t figureoput how to do this. Can anyone helo?

I also found one person with a “product line” that had all the links (I tnink it was wildeej). Anyone know how to do this???

Thank you all for being so helpful

Yes, it was me. It was pretty easy, although not as easy as I would have expected/liked it to be. Essentially I did the following (in tutorial form, suitable for moving to another web site that focuses on Zazzle-related tutorials – hint, hint):

1) Once you’ve logged in, click on the Manage my gallery link at the top of your page (directly to the right of your shop title)

2) Click into the Public area of the Products tab (follow the link to this that is in the left column of the Gallery Settings page)

3) You should now be looking at the Public Products page. Directly to the right of this title there is a link to Add new product line. Click on this.

4) An Add New Product Line dialog pops up. The name of your new product line should go in the Name field. Product lines are displayed in your pages in alphabetical order, so if you use some special character as the first letter of the product name (such as an exclamation point, as I did), these will show up on the top of the list. You can either put all your linky code (or any other descriptive information, in the case of a “normal” product line page) in the Description field now, or add this in later – after you’ve already added the new product line page. Once you’re satisfied with the details of your new product line, click the Add New Product Line button to “make it so”.

5) Congratulations, you now have a new product line! You can pretty much think of this as another page just like your top page in that you can add products here when you create them, and/or put whatever kind of descriptive text in here you want – like links to other pages, in this example.

6) If you want to edit the information on this page (either now, or later to add/remove links or other data), you also do that by going through the same Public Products page you got to in steps 1-3 above. Just click on the product line page you want to edit (it will be listed in the left-hand column under All Product Lines).

7) Once you’re in the product line page you want to edit, just click the Edit link directly to the right of the product line page title at the top.

I noticed that these pages are a little trickier to format than the top-level page. I ended up having to add in explicit HTML line-break tags (
) to get things to space correctly, but they accept a good amount of HTML (formatting tags, links, rudimentary tables, image tags, etc. – enough for me to accomplish what I was after anyway!)

9) As an “extra bonus” note, you may have noticed that there is also an Add new product line link to the right of the Edit link mentioned in step 7. You can use this to add a sub-product line (just like you did in steps 3-5 above) – that’s right, your product line can contain another product line! This can be a really handy feature for organizing an otherwise cluttered shop setup.

Hope this helps!

This means you can’t use images of celebrities or corporate products, nor images, text, or design that you’ve cut from a website without written permission from the owner. You can’t create a “new” image using elements from images that other people have created. And you can’t contribute a quote or a slogan that is substantially the same as something already written by someone else.

Trademark Law. Letters, words, designs, logos, and combinations of the foregoing can be trademarks when used to promote the sale and distribution of goods and/or services. Trademarks identify and distinguish one seller’s goods and/or services from the goods and/or services of others. The test for infringement is whether your use of a design creates a likelihood of confusion on the part of the public. You cannot create products with a design that is likely to cause confusion.

How to Create a Template for Quick use

Suppose you want to do one design theme in different colors, and there are some specific products you want to add for this new product line, but you have 7 different designs, so Either you make every product individually, then tag them, publish them, then customize them and add another design o the same product, which will obviously take you hours and hours to finish OR a simple and easy way

Create your template for quick use

Step 1. go to “my zazzle” “products” now click “quick create”

Step 2: from the drop down box in “use zazzle template default”

Choose from “all products” or apparel or non apparel or paper products

Here I have chosen “All products” after clicking it , the window will appear like this

Since you are making a temp for quick use , I suggest let this image be as it is ,it is the default image place holder from zazzle, later when u want to change it to your own image you can easily do so by clicking “change” I will show this to you in later step

Now click

Now your products will be created

Follow this step closely

This is a temp for quicjk use for all product with white base and no text , suppose you want to create a temp line with base as black or something like different products with different colors and you also want to add a custom text template field to it too, so that later you can change the text and create new designs every time you use this template

Each product has 3 options “edit options” “customize” “delete” whatever you do now will be applied to each product individually but this is the only time you have to do this

If you click “edit options”

You can change the style of your product like, different quality t-shirts, or different shaped magnet and individually change the image, (which is not necessary)

Suppose there are two colors in mens and women’s tee, now u can change suppose one men’s and women’s tee to a different color and style by clicking ‘edit options” same goes for cards and magnets ..e.t.c

Option 2: CUSTOMIZEThis is where you add text and change background color , when u click “customize”

That particular product will open up for customization

Click “add text” a text field will open

Type in your text and REMEMBER to click “advanced options’

And check the box “make It a template object” if you don’t do that you won’t be able to change text when next time u use quick create

Now go to “edit”

If you want to add an image to the back too, click on your image in “customize window”

Click “edit”

Then click “copy” from drop down box

Now

Select the model view “back”

Again click “edit” now choose “paste” from the drop down box , again REMEMBER to click “advanced option” and check “make this a template object” , you have to do this “check step” for each item you add either an image or a text field

Changing Background Color

Since shirts are in different colors, you cannot change the background color, but with all other products you can , click “colors”

Then click “change background” a color palette will open click your desired color and press enter , your background color is changed for this particular product ,do the same steps, if you want to change the background color of any other product

Now

Check everything the view u want to show is right, the model, the shirt style, you can select all this by going to “view” or “model” under your product preview

When all is okay , click “done” , your this particular product is customized

Similary customize each of your product individually, if you want to add text fields and extra images and change color backgrounds

You can delete certain products too if you want, after you are sure that everything is perfect, click “next” (the yellow button) at the bottom right of your screen

Now on this page you can give title to your design theme, u made this for suppose “Christmas gifts” is title, add your description , your tags, which are in general Christmas related, select the product categories and product lines I suggest making a sep product line “Christmas template white” in your product line

Choose this product line now REMEMBER to choose template to reuse for quick create

Set your royalty for this particular product line and click “post it” that’s it you are done, remember it might take up to 2 hrs for the template to appear in your product line

So now when you want to use this temp to make more designs, go to “quick create”

Now you will select “use your own template”

select the product line , it will then give you the option to change image and text, add your desired image and text which will be applied to all the products

And Voila! You are done

Have fun

Happy Zazzling
